Benefícios indispensáveis da Graviola
A graviola tem forma ovalada e é muita suculenta de coloração verde-escuro coberta de espinhos moles (cerdas). A polpa é branca e cremosa. Seu sabor é descrito como uma combinação de morango e abacaxi com ácido cítrico. As frutas são nativas do Caribe e América Central, mas são amplamente cultivadas em várias partes do mundo onde predominam climas quentes e úmidos.
A fruta é rica em carboidratos, especialmente a frutose. Também contém quantidades significativas de vitamina C, B1 e B2. Além disto, muitos compostos bioativos e fitoquímicos têm sido encontrados na graviola. Pesquisas afirmam que a anonacina presente na graviola possui efeitos anticancerígenos. No entanto, esses estudos foram realizados somente in vitro em animais e ainda não há estudos clínicos em seres humanos. Os frutos, sementes e folhas têm uma série de usos medicinais entre os povos indígenas das regiões onde a planta é comum, para tratar algumas doenças de estômago e vermes.
A graviola comumente é consumida crua ou transformada em bebidas, doces, cremes, sorvetes, mousses, merengues, etc. É muito apreciada pelo seu delicioso sabor característico e por conter baixas calorias. Cada 100g da fruta contém em média 60 calorias.
